Lake Winni News

First "Winni Wedding" a great success  http://lakewinnipesaukee.tv/weddings/

Our first wedding was a great success. I really enjoyed the excitement and feeling you get when filming a wedding. Somethings are very traditional but others just unfold in front of you. A story that has not been told yet. It was a real challenge. We set up three cameras along with live feed for a one person shoot. The next wedding will have a least 2 and possibly three videographers to capture all the events. You just can't be in two places at the same time. But overall we were successful in capturing what we needed to capture and we are currently editing with the new Final Cut Pro X  software which has a high learning curve since it is completely different than the old FCP. I do like a lot of the new features and will continue to improve on transitions, timing, color, and special effects. Our first edits look promising and look forward to the next few edits to see where we can take our Winni Weddings

Lake Winnipesaukee TV goes over 48,000 hits in one month period.

This is a very exciting milestone for Winni TV considering it has been strictly word of mouth so far. We have yet to advertise our channel in newspapers or on TV. I knew how much Lake Winnipesaukee meant to people all over the world when I had this vision to create a online TV channel dedicated just to Lake Winnipesaukee but did not know how quickly the word would spread. It shows the true power of social networking. Our video views are averaging over 1000 views per video per month. This is incredible when we haven't officially launched the site yet. When you create a video content site you have to be patient and it takes time to build enough content to attach business sponsorship too. It's been a long two years with money going out for new equipment and no money coming in but was well worth the wait seeing the response to our videos.

Some fun with Lynn.

When Lynn told me she always wanted to be a Flight Attendant, I automatically knew the answer. "You can !. After flying for more than 30 years I knew what the airlines would be looking for and Lynn had it. A great personality, an infectious smile and that laugh, oh that laugh....Less than six months later Lynn was a Jet Blue Flight Attendant. When she left Jet Blue to be home more and spend time with her family, I told her she would be great as an "On-Air Host" for my new LakeWinnipesaukee.TV online network here in the Lakes Region. With no prior experience and that smile she has come into the homes of thousands here in the lakes region and across the country. In less than six months she has created what normally takes many years. A great following and interest in what she is up to next.

Friday was Lynn's birthday and we here at LakeWinnipesaukee.TV wish her a very happy one and many more new and exciting events to follow. Next up for Lynn is flying above the MS MT Washington on her annual "Shake Down Cruise" on May 2. LakeWinnipesaukee.TV will be filming Mount welcoming in spring time and documenting our yearly ritual called "Ice-Out".
